Relocation Stage

Once you’ve accepted the job, a relocation advisor will be assigned to help you through your relocation process, and we send off all the completed information you’ve provided (see 'Offer of Job') to start your background investigation and Saudi Aramco Medical Services Organization (SAMSO) medical clearance.

As part of your conditions of employment, you’ll need to attend a pre-departure orientation in London. This will give you the opportunity to meet other candidates who are either in the same line of work or are relocating at a similar time. You’ll be given a presentation about working for Saudi Aramco, including short films on life in the Aramco community and surrounding areas, and have the chance to ask further questions.

After your background investigation and SAMSO medical have been cleared your relocation representative will send you for a visa medical, as required by Saudi Arabian law.

We advise you not to hand in your resignation with your current employer until all your Saudi Aramco employment conditions have been met. Once the visa has been stamped in your passport and all documents have been attested to, a travel date is given to your Relocation Adviser and flights are booked. You’ll then receive a travel pack, with a copy of your e-ticket, all contracts, travel information and a copy of the visa for your arrival in Saudi Arabia. You can then hand in your resignation. On arriving in Saudi Arabia, after clearing passport control and customs, a Saudi Aramco representative will meet you and take you to your new home.
