Saudi Aramco’s Pound Sterling and Euro Programs are designed to provide a financially attractive compensation and benefits package to encourage your acceptance and continuation of employment with Saudi Aramco. Our package rewards your good performance and is responsive to changes in a competitive environment.
Take home pay (cash compensation, not including benefits) for employees in the Pound Sterling and Euro payrolls consists of three components:

Base Salary
Saudi Aramco’s base salary is designed to be generally comparable with the salary an employee would earn in the UK or mainland Europe working in a similar position. It takes into account the nature of your job, responsibility level, qualifications and experience. [More about Base Salary]
Standard Overbase
The Standard Overbase is an amount paid over and above the base salary. It is designed to provide an attractive financial incentive for you to work for Saudi Aramco and to assist in defraying any additional living expenses that you might have in Saudi Arabia. [more about Standard Overbase]
Benefits Supplement
Giving you the flexibility to supplement the benefits provided by Saudi Aramco with other arrangements such as a pension or savings plan, long term disability and additional life insurance, the Benefits Supplement enables you to tailor your benefits package to your individual needs and preferences. Severance Award
In accordance with Saudi labour law, a severance award is payable by the company to employees who leave after two years or more of satisfactory service. The severance award is based on length of continuous service and final pay (base salary, standard overbase and benefits supplement). The severance award can be a substantial benefit for employees with longer service. For example, an employee with ten years of service would receive a severance award equal to 7.5 times their monthly final pay. [More about Severance Awards]
