Vacational Entitlement

Not only do we offer fantastic leave entitlements, we also provide you with a generous cash allowance to make the most of your holiday. So whether you are visiting family back home or meeting up with friends somewhere exotic, these entitlements are designed to offer you flexibility and choice!

The number of vacation days that you’ll be entitled to will depend on your status and grade code.

Single or family status
Your annual leave entitlement is:
30 calendar days for Salary Grades up to Grade 10
38 calendar days for Salary Grades 11 and above.
 

You also receive one vacation travel allowance with travel days (two or four days as below, depending on your point of origin).

Bachelor status (married with family remaining in your home country)

Your annual leave entitlement is 50 calendar days and three paid trips home per year (one repatriation and two interim trips).

Travel days are also granted for each authorized trip. Depending on your point of origin, you’re entitled to two or four travel days for your repatriation vacation. Points of origin in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa attract two days’ round trip travel time. All other locations attract four days’ travel time for the repatriation vacations and 2 two days for each of the two interim trips.

National holidays

Saudi Aramco also grants nine to eleven days holidays each year to coincide with local customs and national holidays.

Ticket and travel expense allowances

Single or family status

You’ll be granted the cash equivalent of company approved fully flexible economy tickets for you and your eligible dependants (75% of ticket value for eligible children). In addition, you’ll receive 25% of the cost of the airfare to cover incidental travel expenses.

Bachelor status (married with family remaining in your home country)

You’ll receive three airfare allowances - one at the fully flexible economy fare (repatriation leave), and the other two at economy excursion fare (interim leaves). You’ll also receive 25% of the allowance when you take your repatriation leave, and a 10% allowance for each of your interim leaves
