We therefore maintain effective control over the Company's financial transactions related to crude oil, refined products sales, payment for contractors and vendors, employee compensation and benefits, and asset management.

Our Finance department is expected to play the lead role in applying disciplined analysis to all key business decisions to improve the use of capital, optimize the acquisition and allocation of resources, and focus on higher-return-investments.

We are setting out to create an accepted enterprise-wide disciplined approach to both decision-making, one that includes financial impacts, and performance management. We must take the lead in developing financial acumen throughout the Company. This includes enhancing the financial acumen of all Finance employees.
