JOB LOCATION: SAUDI ARABIA
Saudi Aramco is seeking an experienced Aircraft Crew Scheduler I to work with the Aviation Department. The company operates a large fleet of aircraft and maintains airstrips and aviation facilities at a number of locations in Saudi Arabia in support of company operations. The fleet consists of 17 airplanes (including five B737-700's, three De Havilland DHC-8's, two De Havilland DHC-6's) and 21 Helicopters. This dynamic organization handles passenger and cargo transportation in addition to special missions and operations to include pipelines patrol, search and rescue and medical evacuation.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Responsible under the general guidance of the Chief Pilot, for planning and scheduling of flight crews by crew category. Area of responsibility includes for approximately 60 weekly flights for airplanes, in-Kingdom and world-wide which are regularly scheduled, special flights and medical emergency flights.
Compiles the flight crew duty roster, indicating the type of aircraft each crew member is qualified to fly. Coordinates flight requirements with Planning and Scheduling. Coordinate appropriate training for pilots in accordance with the company Flight Operations Manual.
Experienced candidate who has extensive operational knowledge in flight crew scheduling, has extensive knowledge in operating and manipulating commercial crew scheduling software packages and has thorough knowledge with Federal Aviation Regulations governing flight crew duty limitation.
Minimum Requirement:
College Degree in Business Administration, plus 2 years in flight operations; or High School graduation plus a minimum of 10 years experience in planning and scheduling activities in Aviation/Airline Industry.
