The Exploration Organization primary responsibilities are finding and delineating new oil and gas fields, and characterizing the company's large portfolio of oil and gas fields and reservoirs for field development. The Organization has six departments: Area Exploration (oil and gas exploration), Reservoir Characterization (reservoir geology and geophysics, geosteering, modeling, and groundwater), Resource Assessment (pore volume and resource assessment), Exploration Operations (geophysical acquisition and processing, and cartographic support), Exploration Technical Services (geological, geophysical, and data management), and Upstream Ventures.
POSTION DESCRIPTION
Saudi Aramco is seeking an experienced Seismic Data Processor to join the Exploration Organization in Saudi Arabia.
The position requires hands-on, decision making experience in any or all branches of seismic data processing (marine, transition zone, or land) with a proven history of introducing new methods and technologies for the solution of seismic imaging problems. The position will be as a member of one of our time imaging teams, working closely with interpretation, depthing, acquisition and modeling staff to overcome problems in multiple contamination, statics, noise, and resolution.
SELECTION CRITERIA
A minimum of 8 years of experience in a seismic data processing centre, and a degree in Geophysics or Geophysical Engineering. We will also consider other majors, given the right experience.
