Saudi Aramco is seeking an experienced Second Engineer Marine Offshore (Docking Tugs' Chief Engineer)to work with the Marine Department. This Department plays a critical role in company operations by providing material and crew offshore transportation, berthing and unberthing of oil tankers, offshore security and support of offshore drilling and production activities.
Position Description:
The candidate is to work as a Chief Engineer onboard Saudi Aramco Docking Tugs. He will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, repair, maintenance and overhaul of all main and auxiliary machinery, electrical generation, and all services onboard the assigned vessel. He will also be providing the technical support to Engineering and Maintenance Divisions during the vessel's refit.
Minimum Requirement:
1. HND in Marine Engineering from a recognized Maritime Academy or Nautical College.
2. Chief Engineer Unlimited Certificate of Competency.
3. Valid STCW-95 certificate.
4. Minimum of 10-year experience at sea.
5. Minimum of 5-year experience as a Chief Engineer.
6. Good experience in Voith Schneider Propulsion (VSP) and Azimuth Stern Drive (ASD) Systems.
7. Good experience in Power Management System (PMS) / Machinery Alarm & Monitoring System (MAMS).
8. Computer literate.
9. Exceptional verbal and written communications in English.
