The Chemicals/Polymers Marketing Manager will have a thorough understanding of global chemicals markets and pricing strategies and demonstrated value creation in the chemicals business. Will have a detailed understanding of product properties and customer applications in addition to comprehensive knowledge of product and competitive technologies, their comparative advantages and weaknesses.
Principle responsibilities include:
-Develop and lead implementation of optimum global marketing strategies
-Promote Saudi Aramco as a new dynamic entity in chemical industry forums and conferences
-Commission market studies and competitive analyses
-Lead development of competitive pricing strategies
-Analyze business opportunity and develop marketing plans for new products and applications
-Ensure seamless customer qualifications and approvals
-Lead the Business Unit strategy regarding market segments, customers, suppliers, regions, and potential partnerships
-Advance profitable Chemicals growth projects and advise on M&A activities
-Train future sales and marketing leaders in all aspects of the business
Minimum Requirements: BS or BA degree (prefer an undergraduate degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering). An MBA is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of commercial chemicals marketing experience, plus experience in related chemicals business, manufacturing, or technology roles. International experience is preferred.
