Maintenance Engineer - Seawater Injection

JOB LOCATION: SAUDI ARABIA
Position Description:
Saudi Aramco seeks an experienced maintenance engineer to work with the Sea Water Injection Department located in Qurayyah on the eastern coast of Saudi Arabia. This department is responsible for treating, transporting, and injecting water to support and sustain the oil and gas production targets. The engineer will work with a division responsible in promoting maintenance strategies for the department.
Responsibilities include:
- Analysis of repetitive equipment failures
- Estimation of maintenance costs and evaluation of alternatives
- Identification critical spare parts
- Establishment of replacement programs for obsolete equipment
- Enhancement of the effectiveness of maintenance planning and scheduling
- Assessment of required maintenance tools and skills required for efficient maintenance to meet daily changes in operating requirements and priorities
- Consults with and advises operating personnel to determine maintenance requirements and establish priorities for maintenance work
- Analyzes requests for maintenance work in area
- Develops maintenance schedules in detail; reviews and ascertains completeness of scope of work, drawings and list of materials, estimates or verifies a prior estimate for labor, material, tools, equipment and shop work
- Recommends and justifies the use of overtime to meet scheduled project completions.
- Provides engineering direction and engineering control to craftsmen and other personnel to assist in the execution of the work
- Maintains job logs and initiates necessary documentation on contractor performance, material damage or loss claims, accident reports, job completion reports and contract payments..
Minimum Requirements:
B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, or Physics). Must have a minimum of five (5) years job related experience in the oil and gas industry working in Hydrocarbon Plants or Water Treatment Plants. The candidate must have experience in reliability engineering, maintenance quality assurance programs and developing maintenance repair procedures.
